When I worked for other estate agencies, I reluctantly passed my clients to other team members. So now, I choose to work with my clients from instruction through to a joyful key handover. It’s a more reassuring way to work for everyone who’s involved.

I had an early insight into the world of property – my parents frequently moved house when I was growing up, and I loved the nervous excitement that accompanied the process. I was inspired to get my first job in estate agency at the age of 19 and swiftly fell in love with it. Fast-forward more than 20 years, and I’ve worked in Cheltenham and across London, having negotiated sales and purchases for clients who have gone on to remain lifelong friends.

I finished the renovation… and never even listed it for sale or for rent🙅♀️
I made a decision. Brook Green is an absolute secret gem, barely anything available to rent and tenants queuing up. 📈
My head and heart just couldn’t let it go. So I’m renting it instead.
Two rental offers came in from the photos alone, before it even hit the market.

Most people think you need to rip out a kitchen to add value.
You don’t.
I considered replacing this with a Neptune kitchen… but because I knew I might sell or rent, it didn’t make financial sense.
So instead, I focused on the details that actually change how a space feels:
– Better flooring
– Fresh, neutral paint
– Furniture scaled properly to the room
– Softer window treatments
– And small fixes (like concealing appliances)
The result…a kitchen that feels far more expensive, without the unnecessary spend.
This is exactly where I see so many sellers go wrong…
over-improving in the wrong areas, when their heart isn’t necessarily in it and then not getting the return.
Because the goal isn’t to spend more… it’s to sell better.

Morning light, soft tones, and a space I’ve completely fallen back in love with….
After everything you saw in the “before”, this is the finished flat; calm, neutral, layered with greens, and designed to feel as inviting as possible.
I kept the palette simple and timeless, with pieces from Neptune, OKA and Sanderson, mixed with a few touches from Zara Home and The White Company…nothing overdone, just considered.
And now… I’m slightly stuck.
Because this is the part no one talks about, when you’ve brought a property back to life, and suddenly you’re not quite ready to let it go.
Sell… or rent it again?
Either way, this process has reminded me why presentation matters so much.
It’s not just about how a property looks, it’s how it makes you feel.
And this one finally feels like home again 🤍

I bought this apartment in 2012, it‘s held a very special place in my heart. The question is…..do I let go?
For the last 7 years, it’s been rented out and if I’m honest, it became quite a sad place.
Unloved.
A little bleak.
A bit gritty.
A collapsed chimney, gas leak, government charges…..all these things made me question everything.

This Easter break has been a little mix of everything… juggling mummy life, client calls, school holidays, and yes, being able to join the occasional mid-day ice cream stop 🍦💛
Behind the scenes, it’s not always perfectly polished. It’s emails between little trips out, calls taken in the car, being present where it matters most, while still keeping everything moving with care, focus and intention.

Someone said to me recently:
“It looks like you’re doing really well.” I thought about it for a moment…because what people see is often the visible moments; the launches, the exchanges, the photographs & the videos.
The last quarter of 2025 resulted in just over £6m properties exchanged.
Everything that came to market at the end of summer/ beginning of autumn went under offer and through to either exchange or completion.
So naturally, the first quarter of 2026 has felt quieter and I’m completely comfortable with that.
